Myrtle Beach Shows - Medieval Times

This family-style dinner theater features well orchestrated sword fighting, an authentic jousting tournament, and a feast fit for royals. The tournament takes place in 11th century styled castle where Medieval Spain will come to life for you and your family. The 1,300 seat arena is divided into six sections; each of which has an assigned knight who will be competing for the title of King's Champion.

Before going into the Medieval Times Myrtle Beach arena, you'll enter the Hall of Banners and Flags. There are general amusements and swordplay to get guests into the spirit of the evening's main event: the joust. You and your family will be assigned a seating area and a knight before entering the arena. Once inside the main theatre, you'll don your knight's colors and witness his bravery and honor as he puts steel and steed against five other well-trained warriors. It's your job to cheer him onto victory.

Medieval Times in Myrtle Beach

This is another one of our Myrtle Beach shows that includes your evening meal in the ticket price. Guests partake in a royal dinner while enjoying ringside seats to the jousting tournament and festivities. The banquet includes oven-roasted chicken, a large spare rib, herb-basted potato, garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, and dessert pastry. What doesn't it include? Utensils! This is a 11th century feast and hosts do not provide cutlery for their guests during this time period. Eating with your hands is part of the fun! Vegetarian meals available when booked in advance.

Ticket prices range from $32 for kids up to $52 for adults. Upgraded packages are available with options like VIP seating, group photos, a knight's cheering banner and even a commemorative action-packed DVD. The Myrtle Beach Medieval Times also has off-season specials like kid's free with an adult purchasing a ticket. During shoulder season, kid prices hover around $10. There are coupons available in tourist hotspots around the area.

The show is updated approximately every four years, so if you haven't been in a while, it's time to make a reservation.
